Commitment Form
I am committed to playing on the SBA Raiders Travel Baseball team for the 2026 season. I understand that this commitment requires me to attend all scheduled practices, games, and activities related to the SBA Raiders. I recognize that selection to the team is a privilege, and participation requires significant dedication.
I acknowledge that participation in the SBA Raiders program will begin in early November and may continue through August. The primary baseball season, during which baseball is expected to be my primary sport, will run from April 1 to July.
I understand that playing time will be determined on a fair but not necessarily equal basis. Several factors influence playing time, including but not limited to: attendance and participation in practices and games, individual player development and performance, team development, and, in some cases, tournament needs. While SBA Raiders are committed to helping all players develop their skills, the overall success of the team may take priority at times.
I acknowledge that failure to participate in practices and/or games may result in my removal from the team.
Commitment Fee and Payment
A non-refundable commitment fee of $400 is required to secure my selection to the SBA Raiders Travel Baseball team. This fee will be applied to the total participation fee. The participation fee covers, but is not limited to, costs for practices, uniforms, tournament fees, insurance, and equipment.
All annual payments must be completed by April 1st. Failure to do so may result in penalties or suspension from team practices, games, and events.
I/we agree to pay the required commitment fee and/or secure sponsorships to cover the fee. I understand that all money and sponsorships paid to SBA Raiders are non-refundable.
General understanding of commitment
By being in the SBA Raiders baseball program, there will be high expectations placed on you. There will be times when you cannot do your own thing. The following items are in place to make you a better person and promote the image of our baseball program. If you cannot follow these policies, then you will be disciplined or dismissed.
Be on time for all baseball related activities. The team WILL NOT wait on you.
Practice hard at game tempo. We WILL NOT coach poor attitudes. “We cannot coach EFFORT”
Be properly dressed at all times.
Sprint on and off the field at all times.
Pull for your teammates.
Be coachable and keep an open mind.
Accept your role on the team. If you do not like it, work harder to change it.
Do not transfer blame or make excuses. It is not allowed.
Do not question coaches on the field EVER. We will meet one on one to clear up any misunderstandings.
Disrespect for coaches, opponents, umpires, or parents will not be tolerated.
Do not borrow your teammate’s equipment without permission.
Do not throw equipment. Even if it is yours this will result in disciplinary action.
Raiders issued shirts are to be tucked in at all times and caps are to be worn forward at all times. Hats are not to be worn
backwards or sideways. Equipment will be worn ONLY during practice and games.
Playing time will NEVER be discussed between the coaches and parents or players.
Lead by example on and off the field.
Be an example and set the standard high for future Raiders to follow.
And last but not least, DO NOT do anything to embarrass your family, the program, your coach, and yourself.

Acknowledgment and parent/guardian agreement
I/we, the parent(s)/legal guardian(s) of the above-named player, hereby approve and consent to the player’s commitment and participation in the SBA Raiders Travel Baseball team. Additionally, I/we agree to participate in all team events, including transportation to and from activities.
I/we also understand and agree that the managers and coaches will determine the player's position and playing time.
I/we acknowledge that we have read and fully understand the terms outlined in this SBA Raiders Commitment Form.
